Hannah Varnadoe, LMHC

Before I graduated, I was hired as a Community Action Treatment Team therapist to conduct individual and family counseling with youth at risk of being placed out of home due to their mental health including jail, foster care, and residential treatment. During my time there, I was able to address high-acuity issues such as oppositional defiant disorder, out-of-control behavior, attachment disorders, mood disorders, suicidality, LGBTQ+ issues, self-harm, trauma, school issues, and family conflict, to name just a few.

Now, in my private practice, I utilize these skills, along with many others I have built through my career, to help others through difficulties, even if they seem insignificant to the person (I'll give you a hint: they're not). I believe in providing top-quality treatment with a special focus on family issues, trauma, ADHD, religious trauma, and anxiety.

As a counselor, I believe strongly in a client-led approach. My method can best be summarized as a cross between art and science. No one person is the same, so my approach puts the client in the pilot's seat in a way that lets you move and explore at your comfort level while still helping you achieve your goals.
